I just wanted to share a quick card that I made the other day. I used the paper pups cartridge and I have to say I haven't used that cart in a very long time. I'm anxious for more time so I can play with it some more. It has some really cute things on it.
I cut the puppy out at 3 inches I believe and and then I just did some real quick chalking. My next purchase will be some Peachy Keen stamps so I can stamp the face on.
When I have some more time I will share a project my daughter did for a school project.

Class Valentine's
I just wanted to share with everyone what my daughter and I made for her class this year for Valentine's. I was hoping to get these done sooner and posted, but it seems like life always gets in the way!!
My daughter's fourth grade class wasn't going to have a Valentine's party this year, because of so many budget cut days, that I still wanted the kids to have something to decorate their desk with, yet have a goody too.
So, my daughter and I decided to make some tootsie pop flowers. They really were very easy to do and didn't take much time. I probably spent more time priming and painting the pots, then making all of the flowers. The flowers were cut out using the Cricut, along with the George cartridge. I cut both of the flowers out at 3" and the hearts for the tags (leaves) were cut out at 2".
Thanks for stopping by and looking.

One Little Word
Happy New Year!! Welcome 2011!
For the first time I am going to do Ali Edwards "One Little Word". It's where you pick one word to have a meaning for you and focus on that. Big Picture Classes is offering a class from Ali this year. I have taken classes from Ali before and thoroughly enjoy her and her style.
For my word I have chosen, "Enjoy". For mysef, I have found that I get so caught up in everything that we have to do in a day, that I don't enjoy all of the small and meaningul everday events. While my daughter is still young, I want to enjoy her and all of her activities. I'm looking forward to what I'll be learning about my word and myself as this year onfolds.
The definition of enjoy:
To have a good time
1: to have for one's use, benefit, or lot : experience
2: to take pleasure or satisfaction in
Related to ENJOY
Synonyms: adore, delight (in), dig, fancy, get off (on), groove (on), like, love, rejoice (in), relish, revel (in), savor (also savour), be partial to, get a kick (or charge) out of, go for, have a soft spot for, take to
If you're doing this also, please drop a comment and let me know what your word for 2011 is.
